How a call actually goes

Office hours are seven to four thirty, and there is a 24 hour line behind that. One customer's air conditioning quit at eight in the evening and a technician was at the house the following morning. You will be told on the call whether this is an emergency or whether it can reasonably wait until Tuesday. That answer costs nothing and it is the honest one.

Warm air at the vent is a symptom. A seized capacitor, a leaking evaporator coil, a blocked condensate line and a failing compressor all produce it. Amp draw at the compressor, static pressure across the coil and the temperature split between return and supply are what separate them, and they are what get measured before anyone quotes you anything.

A capacitor on a nine year old unit is a repair and we will say so. A coil leak found in the attic on a twenty year old system is a conversation, and it is the one a customer had with us this summer before choosing a full changeout. Same-day repairs and replacements where the parts allow it. Trane, Rheem and Mitsubishi Electric, and as a Diamond Contractor the Mitsubishi warranty cover we can register is longer than a standard dealer's. After that there are spring and winter maintenance visits and yearly contracts, because the cheapest repair is the one the tune-up caught in April.

Emergency
Arkansas summers do not negotiate. A system that quits in July is an emergency and it is handled as one, with a 24 hour line behind the office hours. Capacitors, contactors, refrigerant charge, condensate blockages and compressor faults, diagnosed by measurement rather than by guess.

We've been using Jones Heating and Air for the past several years and have had a great experience both from the scheduling standpoint to the in home service standpoint. Whether it is our routine AC tune-up or a last-minute system repair, they handle it perfectly. Dillon is a top notch technician who goes out of his way to ensure the customer comes first.
Buck was very courteous and professional. He was very knowledgeable and attentive to all our questions, and we had many. During the service call, he found that we had a coil leak in the attic where after all the many questions and discussion decided on a complete overhaul/exchange of a 20 yr old unit.
My AC went out at 8pm, Jones heating was out at my house the next morning and replaced the bad capacitor in no time. Dillon was awesome and did a great job. He was very professional and nice.
